The Royal Smithfield Club was pleased to be involved in two competitions at the recent Stars of The Future held at United Auctions, Stirling on 8-9 November.

The Friday evening saw the Young Handlers Competition judged by Philip Halhead who awarded the Club’s Overall Championship trophy to Katie Aiken. Junior and reserve overall was Elliw Grug Davies. The Club was represented by Rachael Wyllie, Vice President.

On the Saturday, the Group of Three interbreed award - and along with it the Royal Smithfield perpetual trophy - was presented to the Commercial trio. These were heifers from Fodderletter, Crawlaw and Mid Shawtonhill respectively.
