Chris has been Secretary of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association  - organisers of the Royal Cornwall Show - since 1989 and is only the ninth person to hold this position since it was founded in 1793.  He is a Board Member and former National Chairman of the Association of Show & Agricultural Organisations, and a former Trustee and National Chairman of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.  A Trustee of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth and an Honorary Life Member of the Royal Smithfield Club, he has, for many years, been Honorary Secretary of the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show Association.

Farming around 400 beef cattle and sheep at Castle Douglas, commercial cattle run alongside pedigree herds of Beef Shorthorn and Aberdeen Angus. All progeny are either finished on-farm destined for major supermarkets or sold for breeding.

Donald became a member of the Club in 1975, the fifth generation of his family to be involved with the Club.

Simon was born in Oxfordshire and farmed both there and in Gloucestershire where he kept a large herd of pigs. A move to Northumberland in 1987 brought a change to arable and sheep along with a herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle. A Trustee of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, Simon first stewarded pigs at Smithfield in 1980. He is a Fellow of  the Royal Agricultural Societies.
